Environment Protection

Increasing requirements, as well as responsibility towards our nature cause us to address the topic of environmental protection separately.

For these reasons the following list has been developed, which is obligatory for all workers of our company Filzfabrik Gustav Neumann GmbH.

By the production and processing of regenerating raw materials in connection with recycable adhesives including the cover paper an ambitious goal in environmental protection is reached. Nevertheless improvement is a step by step process. For this reason and by further investigations including the energy balances and different ressource managements an auditing has been passed according to DIN 14001.

Active Environment Protection

  • Absolute cleanliness and/or non-using of oils and fats.
  • Reducing energy and water consumption to a minimum.
  • Reducing necessary chemical products to a minimum or searching alternative products.
  • The processing personnel purposefully inform in handling all consumption goodses.
  • Reducing garbage and waste, and/or supply a recycling or develop.
  • Reduction of the production-conditioned wastes by new, innovative processing methods.
  • Reduction of all further wastes by careful working and further use (e.g. of packing materials)

Passive Environment Protection

  • Only purchase necessary goods, which are manufactured according to the current legal regulations
  • Select products, which are made of regenerating raw materials.
  • Records of the environment ressources (water, air, soil).
  • Select suppliers according to our demands (qualify and enviromental management).
